Who We Are
DARLENE MORRIS, Office Manager
Darlene has a personal passion for helping those in need that began as far back as high school, where she was a part of the first peer counseling training program. In college, majoring in Sociology, she was a social work intern. After college, her interests diverged to education where she earned a teaching credential. This ignited a 20-year career working in the education field teaching while raising her 5 children. Additionally, her entrepreneurial spirit inspired her to open a bath, body and aromatherapy store where she helped patrons find natural remedies to various physical and mental needs, ranging from stress and anxiety reduction to headaches and skin problems.
Darlene enjoys hiking, scuba diving and boating. Her love of nature and its’ restorative factors, has led her to continue learning about “Ecotherapy”, aromatherapy and the mind, body and spirit connection. With her desire for learning and helping others, she is embarking on obtaining a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Her heart and compassion for individuals in emotional pain has brought her back to the field of counseling and she is thrilled to be a part of such a vibrant, strong and collaborative psychology practice where the therapists’ professionalism and care for their clients is so evident.
Darlene brings a wealth of professional and life experience to Coherence Associates.
As the office manager, her goal is to create a warm, and compassionate atmosphere in the office, supporting the clinicians and helping clients feel comfortable and cared for as they continue down their journeys of self-fulfillment, hope and healing.
