Who We Are
KATIE MILITELLO, MA, LMFT, LPCC
Katie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.
Katie’s previous counseling experience has included children’s mental health, juvenile diversion, bereavement, maternal health, and school based counseling.
She has completed certification in EMDR Therapy through the Trauma Recovery/EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program. She has also received extensive training in Bowen Family Systems Therapy.
Katie runs a support group for seniors, Adapting to Life Transitions, at Del Mar Community Connections in Del Mar to facilitate transitioning to changing abilities due to aging.
Katie’s previous career was as a marketing executive working with corporations and family owned businesses to help them achieve their goals and become more successful. She found that her work in business fell short of accomplishing her goals of seeing her clients achieve their best possible potential; consequently, she was drawn to learning and understanding the field of counseling to facilitate change, and support others in achieving their desired outcomes.
Katie has a Master’s in Business Administration from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
