Heather and Sara met over 8 years ago when they kept running into each other at professional conferences where they were each presenters. When they first met, they were both excited to finally meet, because so many of their colleagues were telling each of them, "you must meet one another!" Well, they were right! Sara and Heather immediately struck up a friendship of mutual respect, care, common values and collaborative Spirits. They discovered that they were each in the same doctoral program and ended up graduating together in 2017. Dr. Sara as the keynote speaker and Dr. Heather as the recipient of the Dissertation Research Award. Being at the podium together that day, at such a turning point in their lives, was a heartwarming experience for their friendship and ongoing professional collaborations. 

After 35 years in practice, Dr. Sara began to consider her succession planning. It made perfect sense to reach out to Dr. Heather. Here we are today, together again, sharing the joining of forces of our two mental health group practices, serving all of California.

Dr. Sara, "It is with a humble and grateful heart that I hand over the reins to Dr. Heather Williams. I have deep respect for her and value her integrity and professionalism, along with her passion to provide quality Mental Health care for First Responders, their families and for all of our clients who continue to heal from the challenges of life.
